Armstrong Garden Centers offers a variety of plants. The target market of Armstrong appears to be anyone interested in gardening or landscaping. They sell their products to those who beginners to experts. Off first glance, the website is full of bright colors and a lot of information.

Rancho Vista Nursery specializes in cacti and succulents. They offer quality plants to their customers. Their products seems to be for the more experienced gardener after specifically cacti and succulents. Someone who knows a bit more about plants and how to take care of them and who is in search of quality. The website is composed of more neutral tones, sticking to the colors of cacti and succulents.

These two business could not feel more different. Rancho Vista Nursery's website feels like a small business while Armstrong Garden Centers' website gives off the vibe of a big corporation. Rancho Vista Nursery's website is simple and straightforward. Its photos appear to be taken more casually and there is a bit of information that you can click on that leads to more information. On the other hand, Armstrong Garden Centers' has a slide show when you first enter their site essentially of advertisements for themselves. There is an overwhelming amount of information about different ways to shop, different products, and gardening tips. Their photos appear to be professionally taken specifically for the website. Among these differences that stand out immediately, there are a few subtle differences as well. Rancho Vista emphasizes the quality of their product, while Armstrong's main selling point is making landscape design/gardening shopping easy. All of that said, they both appear to be able to help anyone interested in buying their products.
